Terms of Service

Last updated · April 22, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Skeleton, provided by Temporary Studios, Inc. ("we"). By creating an account or using any part of the service you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Skeleton is a macOS application and companion web dashboard that connects your third-party accounts (Gmail, GitHub, and others) to AI clients (Claude, Cursor, and any client that speaks MCP). Every tool call is gated on an approval you grant through the macOS approval UI.

The service is currently in beta. Features, pricing, and availability may change without notice. We will email meaningful changes to your account.

2. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at matthew@temporarystudios.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use Skeleton to:

  • Violate any law or the terms of any connected provider
  • Access another user's account or data without their consent
  • Send spam, malware, or unlawful communications
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the service except where permitted by applicable law
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of Skeleton or any connected provider's API

4. Provider APIs

When you connect a third-party provider, you also agree to that provider's own terms (for example, Google API Services Terms). Skeleton is a client of those APIs acting on your behalf — it is not operated by, endorsed by, or affiliated with the providers we connect to.

5. Your content

You retain all rights to the data you route through Skeleton. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that data only for the purpose of delivering the service to you (authenticating requests, proxying tool calls, storing the memories you explicitly save, and enforcing your approval rules). We do not claim ownership of your data and do not use it to train generalized AI models.

6. Warranty disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" during beta. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure against every possible threat.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Temporary Studios, Inc., its affiliates, and its contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the service.

8. Termination

You may stop using Skeleton at any time by deleting your account from the dashboard or by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate access to the service if you materially breach these Terms or if continuing to provide the service would create a legal or technical risk. We will try to give you reasonable notice when we can.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. If the changes are material, we will email the address on your account. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
